More OZON-Related Information. The latest issue of Scientific American has an article explaining how bacteria develop resistance to antibiotics and the risks this poses to public health, especially from resistant strains living in hospital settings. The Challenge of Antibiotic Resistance, Scientific American; March 1998. Available on news stands for $4.95. Since ozone kills bacteria by chewing through the cell wall, I assume the development bacterial resistance to ozone is not possible since ozone is oxygen and the type of bacteria under discussion require oxygen to live. Expert commentary on the above highly welcome! Gerry
