The market is a leading economic indicator. It sucks right now and it is being ignored by the govt. We are at the edge of a cliff with the economy and it is being ignored. The tax cut didn't work because most of the money was spent on foreign ggods. They seem yo have forgotten we are not in a closed economy. The dollar is dropping because our budget deficit is exploding. The growth engines of our economy ie techs have ground to a halt and these clowns want to tax imported steel. Ignoring the mess in our most dynamic sector isn't good free market policy it is irresponsibility.
