Pssst, I still have shares in my Graviton Spin Reversal System [TM] if you want some! I'm discounting them because SurferM STILL hasn't sent me the money, though he claimed to have EudoraCoined it yonks ago.

The GSRS is still in prototype, but what it does is spin the gravitons in reverse, so the Dysprosium/Iridium alloy platform on which one stands, is pushed upwards by gravity as hard as it was pulled downwards under normal gravity when switched off. So it can lift somebody if they weigh the same. For example a 70kg person would order a 70kg platform and they could turn it on and just float on up with a gentle push.

You need to be careful if you only weigh 50kg and get on a 70kg platform because you sort of zoom up a bit too fast and a few brave experimenters have disappeared into space. I had them fully insured though!

Force [F] = mass [m] x acceleration [a]
so the 20kg extra force really gets you moving!

m = 120kg
F = 200 newtons [more or less, being the result of the 20 kg excess]

a = 200/120 m/sec2 or about 2 m/s2

distance travelled [metres] = 0.5 at2 [t = how many seconds]

so you can be 10 km high after, umm, need a calculator...100 seconds! There would be a bit of wind resistance after you get moving, so it would probably take about four or five minutes. Great for parachuting! Sky-surfing, or just looking around. Some who have bought at Nasdaq 5000 might not bother with the parachute...

This isn't an SEC approved security, so I'm only offering them to Eketahuna residents. But wait! I'm selling remote residencies if you want one of those - it's a lovely town.

PS: GSRS is NOT related to GPRS which is a hopeless WWeb technology being developed by Nokia. GPRS is a dog compared with HDR by Mighty Q
