Tmrent, what is Sarnoff going to do about compatibility? The
major cables (TCI, TW, etc) have agreed that there will be no
proprietary systems. Seems to me that Sarnoff is only going to
sell to "renegade" local cos that do not adopt the standard.
My opinion, once this takes off (and the co-anchor on CNBC recommended SFI this morn and said it was fixing to take off),
there will be plenty to go around. As long as you are competitive.
This lady on CNBC said Time Warner has the money now but some other cable cos have to get the money first.
