WLIB is a very weak station on Long Island. I can't even get it in New Jersey. WABC is 50,000 Watts, and covers at least 60 miles around NYC. I don't think they're on a level playing field at all. It is kind of surprising that Air America can't get on a stronger station in NYC though, of all places.

To Air America's credit, a lot of conservatives thought they wouldn't survive even a few months and they've hung on and grown, so it's not all bad news coming out of Air America.
