minnow, It is very hard to guess the level of inventory by watching a pile go down in a place like price club or sams club. When the pile falls to a certain level the computer system tells them to bring another skid from the higher level storage, no need for a human to notice it.
I doubt that price club or sams would bother with a boxed item that sold 3 a week, so I conclude that you were in error and just caught a snapshop of a highly dynamic inventory at 2 times. Similarly had there been 5 systems 2 weeks ago and a dozen now you could conclude that sales were so bad people were bringing them back with similar validity
