Hi CD, Being from Montréal I'm spoiled. Even with a Friday night hangover great skiing could be had within about an hour's drive. For two hours we had a huge selection. I skied Tremblant a lot before Intrawest when it was still a backwater but fantastic nonetheless, Mont St-Anne, Stowe and Smuggler's Notch Vermont, Whiteface NY, Jay Vt. (one of my favourites), Owl's Head or Sutton (Easter Townships) if you felt like dodging trees... we were so spoiled. Only you Westerners have it better.... Now I ski on glorified cow pastures... :o( regards Kastel
