Gerald ---I will always remember Reagan for three things : 1) The positive attitude that he brought back to the country after the worst recession we had had in fifty years . He reminded us it was great to still be an American 2)The way he handle himself during the shooting even though their was a real chance he might have had died . Especially when he ask if the surgeon was a Republican ? Great humor 3) The fact which is so loss on most of America that the prosperity we have enjoyed the last eight years is due into large part to the breaking down of Communism by the strong military buildup by the US . This broke the regime in Russia and change the world ---we did not have to spend as much on the military thus being able to control the Federal budget that much easier . Between Reagan , Gorbachov and the Pope they resolved the cold war to the better BEST WISHES BILL
