Chris agrees, the vasectomy hurts, especially when the Dr. put the needle in to anesthetize the area. It hurt for a few days. I am very very glad he did it, not me. He was going in for a hernia operation so they were going to cut in the same general region anyway, although not really all that close, maybe three inches apart.

I am especially glad now that I am looking at a case where a woman got pregnant after a tubal ligation, and have looked at one where a woman had horrendous complications after one, which would up requiring six additional surgeries, and having her abdominal wall reconstructed with plastic mesh. Potential complications for tubal ligations are much more serious.
