Mark, I still like CSCC, Asnd, and Shva as put candidates, but with doomed chip stocks and pc cos. going up while their businesses are going in the tank, I think they are better deals than the commo cos right now. I don't know the other 4 stocks you mentioned. Was the increase in shares a reverse split? But it was legal in any case. The company cannot issue more shares without shareholder approval. But shareholders regularly rubber stamp the creation of new shares on their proxies. I almost always vote no, but the vote usually comes out something like 200 million for, 500 shares against, so my 5 round lots don't count for much. Anything a management working under a legally constituted board does that is not against the law is pretty much legal. I always preach that people should pay more attention to those proxies, but I have lost that battle for sure, for sure. MB
