Skipper (or should I call you navarchus?)--Hey! I'll bet you were a fellow member of--umm- was it Eta Sigma Phi??
What made you major in that? I keep telling my boys to take it and we work on derivatives haphazardly at home. I believe that the study of classical languages creates the best writers and clearest thinkers, and the disappearance of this in our schools has seriously damaged the education of our children. (No, I'm not opinionated on the subject). I took six years of Latin and almost majored in it(just too frivolous to stick it out). THey were the best courses I took and the ones that contributed the most to developing my mind, such as it is.
Freddy loves it when people talk Latin! Throw some out!
