Been reading a lot of articles about the folks scrambling around in Washington trying to confirm our rationale for entering a war with Iraq and committing US military - WMD.

Based on the non-performance of Iraq's military, it seems obvious to me that Saddam sure as hell didn't invest any money in his Army over the past 12 years and it would logically follow that he didn't invest in weapons of mass destruction either. The cynic in me says, the only WMD's he might have had are the one's we sold him when we were backing him fighting Iran. Am I missing something?

Learning now what life was like during Saddam's regime for the Iraqi people is mind boggling. However, that was not the rationale for entering the war. The revisionists in the Bush administration are already beginning to re-spin the spin. We need to take a national hard look at the decision without being biased by the conditions in Iraq.

I think the country needs a little candid conversation.
