It is high time. There needs to be more competition to reduce the runaway inflation in medical services and insurance costs. The AMA and like have artificially curbed or made difficult the importation of qualified immigrants or work transfer unlike other areas like engineering. Some of the medical jobs are pedestrian and many doctors from other countries can perform as well if not better at a lower price.
