Another thing you could do in the specific case of Zicam is to go to the website (zicam.com) and get the number for the person who is coordinating the distribution for Zicam (?Jim Marini?). Call him and ask him to whom you should speak, i.e., buyers for the major chain stores to verify that they are customers.

All those suggestions (this and last post)should make your research more accurate.
