I agree that the reported net EPS should be negative and that this will certainly encourage the uninformed investor to shy away from such a "high P/E" stock. But I, as I believe are many of the posters on this thread, am in this for the long run. Thus, I am more concerned that over time (not just this quarter) WIND will be able to get the same type of return on this investment as they have until now. If the stock were to crash due to earnings, I would surely look at it as an opportunity. And, the way this is being accounted for, it will have no dilutive effect going forward, which means any future earnings from this investment will add to (be accretive) to bottom line EPS.

I express my patience, even though I am the one who purchased the only 4 Aug 35 calls so far. I am concerned about the earnings, but there are just too many good things going for this company to worry about just one quarter's worth of earnings. (Though, my fingers are still crossed).
