My point is that even if you win, you will receive little more than emotional satisfaction, and in fact may further hurt your investment (if you continue holding) as management will be distracted from everyday operations. Unfortunately, it's a fact of life that there are extreme price reactions in the stock market - that's the nature of the animal. And I've never seen a company sued for beating the Street!!
