Funny how when we periodically get someone new on this board who announces the intention of going short, it is usually the prelude to a run up in the price! And as to <<<I believe it is the policy of Digital to not preannounce>>> -- well, that is nonsense. They did it for a couple of quarters in a row around the 2nd half of 1986. Can't recall if it was by way of a press release, but they gave the analysts plenty of time to revise their estimates down before the quarter ended. Also, interesting to note that you are an ex-employee. Don't let your emotions about your DEC experience override your investment judgment! Charlie. (Looking forward to the next upsurge.)
