A separate Microsoft document detailed the company's objective to, ''FUD DR-DOS with every editorial contact made.'' Microsoft says its public statements were consistent with internal shipping schedules, which sometimes slipped. Microsoft went further and denied Novell access to early test versions of Windows in an effort to ensure incompatibilities.
