It’s hard to get a grip on the way their minds work. Do pacifists simply choose to believe that evil doesn’t exist?

I have the same difficulty, but I suspect that they consciously choose to believe that we are the greater evil since we are right here and Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Osama bin Laden, Idi Amin, Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, and Mao Tse-tung are, or were, far away.

Well, Fidel and Che ain't all that far, but still...
