IBM better reinvent themselves as a ebusiness consulting firm. They failed in the PC business and next to go is their server business. This is a last ditch attempt to stay in the market with HP and Sun.

W2K is going to turn out to be a major bust as they have already been caught faking the performance data. Check out www.theregister.co.uk.

Scott pointed out that the areas they are really experiencing huge growth in was twofold, the low end and the high end. They have netra servers for under $2000, you had better get out from underneath those PC server prices before they fall under $499. I might add where they are fairly priced.

Scott was not trying to guide growth to 20% he was trying to keep analysts from becoming irrationally exuberant and expecting >30%.

Finally what thread are you reading that has a lot of momentum investors. In case you are lost this is www.siliconinvestor.com the "All About Sun" thread. Hang around and you will discover we are as 'twister' describes us zealots. Maybe the Yahoo or Raging Bull threads would be more to your liking.<wink>
