Mrs. Alito had zero reason to cry. She seemed in fine spirits until her handler whispered to her, then she turned into a cry baby, about nothing. If you don't think that stinks, you're blind. Anita Hill went through 100 times worse torment at the hands of righwing interrogators during th Clarence Thomas hearings, even after it was learned Clarence Thomas had sexually harrassed her on the job. Mrs. Alito is a phony. Inb fact, so is the entire Bush spin, shuck and jive.

Bush's feel-good speech about Katrina yesterday was disgraceful. CNN covered New Orleans yesterday and report there's little progress on the ground and that people are hanging onto survival by theif fingertips. Thousands of trailers which Bush boasted about haven't even been delivered yet, or get delivered to the wrong people. Just a a huge mess. And Mississippi was a total mess as well.
