15:19 ET Juniper Networks (JNPR) 38.49 -8.14 (-17.5%): -- Update -- Mixed comments this afternoon on JNPR's short-term prospects. CE Unterberg sees no looming price war in high end IP equipment and expects JNPR to show gradual sequential rev. improvement in the 2nd-half. Firm maintains Strong Buy rating, but reduces price target to $55 from $100, based on 65x firm's revised FY02 est. of $0.82... Gruntal & Co less positive. Firm downgraded stock and recommends that investors avoid taking positions at this juncture, on concerns there may be larger issues still below the surface.
