**OT** completely
Mt. Alta which is Ste-Agathe. I believe it was closed back when I hung out up there... Don't know if I'm a pro but I certainly cut my teeth before downhill got soft.. ;o)

I have to agree that Whiteface has some of the best skiing in the east- Yeah I was truly spoiled back then. My folks had a camp (a Quebecism ?) near lake Placid while my youngest sister was competing (figure skater 88 Olympic team, I like to brag about her still ;o) so we could stay for free.

Ste-Agathe ah! many memories there, Lac des Sables hanging out in Ste-Adolphe (God only knows why LOL).. My inlaws had a big white stucco bungalow near the top of Hillside in Ste-Agathe ..... long time ago now.. You're making me as nostalgic as Eva. I used to dream of a home on that lake....

Funniest thing I see here in the chalets is folks scarfing down poutine like it's some kind of delicacy... LOL...
