5/06/99 - Brazil: Novell, ActivCard introduces security card Novell, associated with ActivCard, is introducing in Brazil a new security system for electronica operations via networks, the ActivCard. The card, with a micro processor embbeded, is to be sold for US$130, and a peripheral device to go with it, the Token, at US$40, while the software BorderManager has a tag of US$5 per user. Banco Real already uses this technology for its consumer transactions.
