At that point the pressure will be intensified for ATT and AOL to sign a deal. I would be surprised if there is gentle persuasion from the FEDs to do so. The FEDs find it uncomfortable to intervene.>>>>>>>> From a FED perspectrive this is not a AOL vs. ATT issue. The FED will not allow municipalities to dictate/politicize communication policy. The best technical minds on SI say open access is a nightmare. The city council folks are dopes. D.H.
