If I were you, I would look at the actual data before I challenge people on their statements.

Or, at least, look up recent news and announcements.

biz.yahoo.com

Video-games sales skidded 14.6 percent in October, compared with a surge of 73.5 percent a year ago, according to a note to investors by J.P. Morgan analyst Dean Gianoukos.

Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. had the hardest comparisons, as October sales fell 80 percent from last October when the company's "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" game had a successful run.

Electronic Arts Inc. and THQ Inc. both saw a rise in video-game sales.

So, basically, TTWO's sales declined by 80%. ERTS' sales were higher. Just like I said. That the industry sales declined overall, no doubt due to TTWO's 80% drop in revenues doesn't change the fact that ERTS sales were higher in October 2003 than in October 2002.

Now, pray tell, what makes you think "downgrades suggest otherwise"?
