Yes, it's a great thread. I posted that thought to alan holman the early morning of May 5 and someone accused me of being sarcastic, I wasn't being at all. If Brad and Jeff put it on CD-ROM they'd sell a few, maybe to psychology students, eh?
It just amazes me that anybody could with a straight face present David Walsh as above suspicion, of course our species has had amazing actions/reactions before, and not always for pecuniary motives. Re Lalit; I talk to him on the Denison Mines thread, where we don't always agree but we speak in civil tones. Lalit has for the most part not been a stifler of debate on this thread. Ole 49r has. Re ole49r; She (and/or the mule, the Lord only knows) has brought a fair bit of technical knowledge and market savvy to us along with the tendency to verbally abuse various entities questioning her/its icons (i.e. David Walsh). She/it has been right on some points and wrong on others, the position taken on Bre-X has brought down the average but not reduced it to null.....yet.
The attempted stifling of open and intelligent debate is the one point on which I take exception with the drumbeat/ole 49r/Lalit contingent. It hardly matters, though, the lady who rules here is Jill, and anyone can speak their mind as long as they don't bend the Terms of Use too far.
Adrian.... You weren't hired by Ms. Francis to investigate this thread or its posters. Well fine, but imho it doesn't matter, I don't personally care if research is funded by the Attila the Hun Godhead Foundation as long as it's effective, correct, and I as a Bresea shareholder don't have to pay for it. Light is light, it is welcome, and Lord knows, this scam could use some light, and so very little light shines, imho, from the nether regions of David Walsh.
