Rassman was underwater during the contested SwiftVet episode, how can he know the exact details of that skirmish from that vantage point? Rassman servied at the most for 2 days on Kerry's boat. He was knocked off that boat when the neighboring swiftboat was disabled by mine explosion. In fact, Kerry's boat initally scurried away while the other boats(all were within yards of each other) started to scoop men from the water. Kerry returned (when it became clear that there was no enemy fire) and he reached for Rassman's hand just seconds before one of the boats that remained did so. Rassman gives Kerry credit for saving his life and that's fine but he should not claim to know all the details when in fact he was not in a position while underwater to observe all of them.
