><>..Hi Joe,I've been thinking about it for a long time..><>
Christians have been far too passive, and now 25 yrs later...it's all but a memory.
And most of the problem is exactly because of the attitude expressed in that precious little girls words, which of course, she got from her parents.
Now the liberals sit back and laugh...and they write things like.... Now the Christians cannot in school pray, they do everything that we liberals say. Christians.....Oh what fools.....but at least there is no more prayers in schools!!
All children should be writing words more like:
Well here we are, another school day And thank God my parents fought for the right for me to pray.
OR....
Now I sit me down in school Where praying was almost against the rule, For this great nation under God tried to make mention of Him very odd. Since Scripture now the class recites To the liberals dismay does not violate the Bill of Rights.
Anytime my head I bow the liberals no longer....wish to make federal matter now. The law is specific; the law is precise. Praying out loud is O sooooo nice.
Praying aloud in a public hall has caused even the liberals to get on the ball. In silence alone now even they meditate And if God should get the credit-great!
They is no such thing as guns in schools because the liberals couldn't play us for fools
Reading , 'riting, and 'rithmatic we learn everyday, and we are not afraid to be in class cause now the whole school prays en mass.
Thank God my parents stood up for God... and for our right to pray, For even now the liberals say All honor and glory to God!!
So, now Oh Lord, this thanks I make; that my parents did not allow the liberals to take....prayers to you out of schools, thank you O lord that my parents were not such fools!!!!
And they would end by writing:
Maybe there are still a few... who think it's a waste of time to sit in any church pew. but we pray in time they will see the light because they saw our parents fight...for the right
And then we can share with them all... the good news and someday soon there will not be enough pews!!
As ole sachmo the songster sang....What a wonderful world! |
