Here's one statement from Talking Point that is out of whack (I wonder how these guys get jobs paying them six figures):

''Excel is 99 percent a reseller, so they have a lot of traffic these new 'next-gen telcos' need on their network to lower per-unit costs. So it makes a lot of sense for them to buy someone like Excel,'' Paulak said.>

Paulak is nuts. Excel is transitioning the bulk of its LD volume over to ITS OWN NETWORK by the end of next year. Excel bought up Telco just for this purpose. Paulak can't even get this simple fact straight.

Although an acquisition of ECI is posible, I think these guys are smoking something funny.
