It now the end of October 06 the US attorneys office has informed me that the sentencing is imminent and a public announcement will be made by their office in the Stockett Case. However, another delay. What is going on in the background with Stockett. Smells like is trying to hustle a deal while in the big house. Gee, wonder who the next victim will be. Hell, maybe he's going to con the US Attorney.
BTW, HE can have a restitution order against him, but that means absolutely zip zilch nada, when it come time to be released. It may delay his release by a week or two, as he will have to file a pauparis motion, indicatting he has been locked up for blah blah period of time and that he has no money. The court will grant the motion and he will be released. (Supervised Release for 2 to 3 years) The he will go to a half way house for 6 months where they will tell help to go right back to the Federal Court house and get a Employment Bond granted by the FEDERAL COURT so he can go and get a job!! He will have to be a good boy for the Supervised release period of time. Otherwise they'll lock up again.
Bets. He will screw others in the future. but he will take on an ALIAS and probably run to Canada and find a few more suckers with millions to invest in some scheme or other.
Hopefully the judge hammers him for 4 to 6 years, however if one looks at Sentencing Guidelines, he should get a sentence ranging from 34 to 42 months. Time served will count. Good time will earn him 4.5 days per month served. so if he get 36 months he will get just shy of 5 month good time. Meaning that he will serve 31 minus 18 month pre-sentecing. So he will be placed in some Minimum or low security facility for 13 months, work on his tan, eat 3 square meals per day, either work in Unicor (Prison Industries) and get paid $0.34 cents per hour worked or My guess, he'll get a job in the Prison Law library, given his legal abilities and get paid by inmates for doing inmates appeals and filings.
How nice, the FEDs protecting this guy, by housing him. Surely a few people what to skin him. Looking forward to posting the outcome of his sentence. BTW, if any of you has gotten screwed by this character. Do call the US Probation Office at the Las Vegas Federal Court and let them know you are another victim of his schemes. I will take odds that is what is causing the sentencing delay. In doing their Pre-Sentencing Investigation they are finding score and scores of victims and collateral issues, which surely they will use against him at sentencing. They can easily enhance him and add between 4 and 8 extra points to his sentencing point score and this could get him and additional 12 to 24 months. The more people that call, the better chance of enhancing Stocketts jail time and keeping of the streets of the world. DAWG1 |
