In Canada I don't think we will see a huge market slowdown ... I actually think things will pick up from now until well into 2000. We will have a few hiccups here and there but I don't see a big problem with Y2K and the Canadian markets. Even if there are a few problems, they will create some opportunities for volatile trading. I plan on going bargain hunting for stocks between now and the end of the year.

UBS was strange today but that goes with the territory when you are playing manipulated stocks. Also remember UBS has almost 66M shares out so there may actually have been a lot of insider selling going on as well. If it doesn't move over the next day or two I'm out.
