Sonki. Thanks for the info. That's the only way I can access old posts. Here I was hoping that you have an easier way. But nothing seems easy nowadays.

Wow. What a market today. There was supposed to be selling in the morning and then buying from there on for a while. Well, I am not upset over this changed scenario. gg. The market is losing a little steam right now. Let's hope that's all there is to it.

Yes, AOL was pretty much at the bottom in Oct. 98. I bought in October and November of that year and then again in January. All those buys are still in the green.

AOL is doing pretty good today but, of course, CNBC keeps talking about AOL any time they can manage. They always keep saying that GE is their parent company but they very seldom say that AOL is their competition. They should be compelled to say that every time they talk about AOL. Today they are talking again about AOL not having warned yet. Merrill's Blodget already lowered estimates for AOL on Friday but kept it as a buy.

A lot of my stocks look a lot better today. Intel, Dell and NOK are doing great.

Little investors did stay put the last week but big institutional money managers did a lot of selling. I hope the shorts get a little hurt today and I hope that the market socks it to them. But this is probably wishful thinking.

We don't need the analysts to tell us that the markets will be nervous for some time to come in light of what has happened lately and even before that with Greenspan practically killing the market with his high interest rates. At least we are on the right road again with those interest rate cuts and the throwing away of the lock box keys for now.

Today is a little encouraging evem though the market is coming down a bit. As long as it does not tank later on.

Sonny
