There is no question in my mind that they will evolve their existing ANSI-41 network through each evolution of 1x cdma2000 in existing spectrum. It also appears (at this time) that with the assistance of Cisco and Nokia they will also pioneer the development of the Network to Network Interface (NNI) and requisite hooks and extensions to bridge to a GSM-MAP and integrate an IP network. All this making them a global superpower in wireless mobile telephony, a strong influence in Asia, and coming soon perhaps to LA.

Domestically, however, why would SKT go with WCDMA? Seems illogical (and expensive) to use it in SK simply as a showpiece. Isn't that all it would be?
