Dems recognizing the truth:

If he cannot take on his own pastor, how can he take on Osama and the AQ?
Chinu, Obama won my respect when he didn't throw Wright under the bus.
It is ludicrous to think he shares Wright's views privately. Of course the right wing is going to have a field day with it.
The deeper question is not about taking Wright on a la Osama or AQ = the deeper question is if Obama is the great unifier why couldn't he change Wright's views in the twenty years he sat in his church ?

I think very different skill sets are required in the two cases.
Rev. Wright may have a grouse against a President. But what he did yesterday is that he attacked the Presidency.
Allen, there comes a time when a person has to say, "Enough is enough. I am going to cut you off. You are not going to derail the movement of the American people."
McCain did that very effectively with Bob Cunningham in Ohio, Sen. Biden has demonstrated that several times in the Senate etc. Obama has tried enough to get Rev. Wright under the tent, but unfortunately, Rev. Wright tried to set it on fire.
