Thanks for responding/educating me.

It seems to me like FDM niche is pretty big. I can think of a lot of applications where one functional prototype (made cheaply and in a variety of materials) would be really useful.

So it seems like SSYS is in a great situation with plenty of room to grow, provided TDSC doesn't move into their niche. I wouldn't invest in them yet though, until I was convinced TDSC couldn't move in. See my last post. (#26) Do you know how long TDSC expects it will take to improve the Actua to incorporate more materials and become as accurate as FDM?
