Siemens selected PrismLite multi-technology analyzer for ITSC support
TEL AVIV--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 23, 1998-- RADCOM Ltd. (NASDAQ-NM Symbol: RDCMF - news) today announced that Siemens Private Communications Systems (PN) has selected RADCOM's PrismLite(R), ATM/WAN/LAN protocol analyzer, as their standard test tool for ATM testing. The worldwide framework agreement was signed between RADCOM's German distributor (Datakom GmbH) and Siemens PN and covers terms of delivery, warranty and support.
Siemens PNSQ (Private Network Service Quality), the department which signed the agreement with RADCOM, is the department responsible for the development of general service guidelines, e.g., the specification of measurement equipment for the different service levels such as field service, ITSC (International Telecommunications Support Center) and PS/R&D.
After a thorough selection procedure which included the evaluation of different analyzers carried out over a period of 9 months ending November 1997, the PrismLite was chosen as the preferred analyzer for ATM testing. This evaluation was headed by Mr. Thomas Auel, project manager at PNSQ. ''Among other things, we used the PrismLite during the development of the HICOM 300E ATM Access Switch and PABX. We were happy to discover that we can continue to use the same tool for the worldwide field support,'' said Mr. Auel.
