First of all, I responded to your comment about me in your response to Kurt's post - which referenced (with a link) a completely different post. Now you say you were talking about another, different post? Whatever...

I stand by what I said about the Palco deal. What if it had been consummated - the results could have been very positive. That event could have drastically changed the then-future course of events. Could be why so many nays were against it occurring and fought it so very hard, don't you think? (I really don't expect an answer as this is basically a rhetorical question and I already have my own thoughts on this.)

Now, not only must I request that you not speak for me, but I must also request that you not think for me either. I recall quite well the reporting of the nays' badgering of Palco as largely responsible for the cessation of negotiations. As reported, the words were from Pat. Now, in hindsight, perhaps he attributes his decision to pull out for other reasons. I cannot and will not presume to speak for him. My comments are in relation to what was reported as the reasons back then. Understand?
