Hydron Technologies, Inc. Expects Record Sales in 2nd Quarter 1997
BOCA RATON, Fla., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Hydron Technologies, Inc.
(Nasdaq: HTEC) "HyTech," announced today that based upon current
orders in house and anticipated orders, it expects a record second
quarter in sales, which will be a substantial increase over the $2
million in sales recorded in the second quarter of 1996. Management
also expects a satisfactory profit for the second quarter despite
heavy expenses being incurred as it continues to expand its direct
marketing business.
Harvey Tauman, Chairman and President of HyTech said, "Year to
date, sales to consumers through the combination of direct response
television by our licensee and our own direct marketing operations
are approximately 40% ahead of last year. Based upon current
business trends, HyTech expects to have record sales in 1997."

begin to market the new patented nutritional supplement containing
the combination of Glucosamine and Chondroitin, under the name
"Cartilage Formula" in this quarter.
