History has made it clear that the Soviet empire would have imploded even if Reagan had done nothing. Your arguement hinges to a large degree on this premise and frankly Frank, I'm not convinced of it's accuracy. Even if it were it proves why the track record of the Monday morning quarterback's play calling is far better than that of the guy who played on Sunday. At the time, what we knew was, missiles were pointing our way. I'd love to whoop your rump on your other points but I gotta get busy.
