William, in response to your query on tax breaks, a lot depends on what form the entity in the other country will take ie. subsidiary vs. branch Once this is decided the Cdn tax act will determine how income is taxed There are no huge income tax breaks that I am aware of. A company may be able to negotiate a break on certain municipal or other taxes with local governments if they plan to build a plant or create jobs. Hopes this gets you started.
