Hello Rich!

1. Nobody (that I know) can attest to a done deal with a major oil company or any other financing source. This is pure speculation. The real question is not if but when the deal is consummated.

2. What is known are the following items:

a.) Arakis does have a concession in Sudan.
b.) the concession holds a HUGE amount of proven reserves.
c.) Arakis has a major investment in people and equipment in Sudan already (even its own hospital).
d.) John Mcleod (CEO) is committed to operate the company as a real oil company (not as under Terry Alexander's reign).
e.) Arakis has said that it is in discussion with eighteen groups about permanent financing for the pipeline.
f.) Arakis is already supplying oil for local consumption in Sudan.
g.) Last year there was much discussion about civil war, armed terrorist groups and the "nuts" in the Sudanese government. In the two years that I have followed Arakis, the preceding items have only been rumor. The analysts that went to Sudan in May report how cordial the government officials were.

3. The bottom line is that there is so much oil involved that the money will come. One BIG question is under what terms.

In reference to price and timetable, I do not have a crystal ball. However having watched this stock (daily) for two years, I predict a deal will be done by year's end (probably within two to three months). Without knowing terms of the financing, I can only guess that the stock will run (REAL FAST AND VERY TURBULENT) to $25 maybe $30 in the very short term (just before or after the announcement.)

Do your own research!
