Today the market experienced an intra-day failure to the upside and went on to close at it's lows on a greater spread on increased volume and finished the day in a nearly oversold condition.

Supply which was absent yesterday, re-entered the market and applied the same control that it did this past Thursday and Friday. Yesterday, the lack of supply provided the market an opportunity to move up. Today's action indicates that supply has control of the market and the likelihood of further upside progress is questionable.

Strong demand needs to be seen shortly or the possibility of the market re-entering it's previous downtrend and a subsequent test of the lows of March is likely.

Additional evidence of weakness was found in a number of the leading stock issues for the past week. Today saw many of them being distributed. These should be watched closely as this is not good for those bullish on the market.
