Thanx, fedman, for posting that very interesting article on the Oberwies Screen. I found it very informative. What added to my interest, was the coincidence that I’m currently putting together a "Growth Screen" of my own, which is why I was interested to find the source of several of the criteria that Oberweis uses. For one thing, it’s not often that I find reference to "Pre-Tax Profit". Most folk generally use, or refer to, Net Income. Personally, I prefer Pre-Tax because that’s not affected by once-off tax credits, post-tax extra-ordinary items etc... I notice that, compared with other screens features on the AAII web site, the Oberweis is certainly doing a lot better than most others !!
