Gartners Symosium / IT Expo takes place every year roughly in the first week in October. They usually announce earnings around the third week Considering this is the year end, I wouldnt expect an earnings announcement until late October.

I would expect GART to continue along their aggressive strategy of buying within the IT data industry. It has been a consistent strategy in their growth. I still own a few hundred shares and would expect mid thirties for the year end run up. This stock is very attractive at these levels (27-28) especially as a long term hold. I believe most of the major houses have long term agressive buys on the stock
