Yes and it does paging and voicemail too, and maybe in the future it will have data transmission capabilities. Mobile radio should be low cost since it is less flexible than cellular and doesn't garner the dollars that cellular does.

My point was that the largest market is cellular. It appears that the costs for its cellular service alone is somewhat more expensive than other providers, so Nextel is not targeting consumers. By not targeting consumers it would appear that Nextel is limiting the growth that could otherwise obtain.

Nextel's strategy seems to be, use mobile radio most of the time and cellular only when you need to, and then your overall bill will be less. This is ok for some business who talk to the same inter-company people all day (eg. trucking, police), but everyone in the company needs to switch.

Do you know what Nextel's cellular rates alone are?
