Correction To Information I Previously Posted:
Centura Software is in fact co-sponsoring the Database & Client/Server
Conference in Chicago on December 10-12, 1996, but will not be exhibiting
there as I posted in reply #19. Instead, Centura will be exhibiting at the
Internet World Conference & Exhibition in New York on December 9-13,
1996; and at the SAP/Microsoft Technical Education Conference in Los
Angeles on December 9-12, 1996.
In addition, Centura's Senior Product Marketing Manager, Tom George, will
be presenting a seminar titled "Application Development Challenges with
the World Wide Web and Their Solutions" at the Business Online Exhibition
and Conference in San Diego on December 3-4, 1996, even thought Centura
will apparently not be exhibiting there either. According to the conference
guide, "key presenters" will include some of Centura's core customers like
AC Nielsen, Computer Associates, and Rockwell International. Computer
Associates' presentation, titled "Internet/intranet Reality vs. Hype for C/S
Tools", will focus on the differences between "scalable, traditional C/S Web
development tools and the lure of new "easy" Web authoring technologies".
