OFF TOPIC Dear Mr. Lazlo:

It has come to the attention of the PGB of A (Poot Governing Board of America) that you have a serious (dare we say compulsive?) interest in all forms of flatulence. We feel your pain. The General Public At Large has long discriminated against us. With the jokes and the snide remarks everywhere we turn, we wonder why poots have not been the subject of litigation!

Two years back, at the annual meeting, (held outdoors under the balmy skies and tradewinds in Hawaii) we voted unanimously to change [the word we don't use anymore] to poot.

It is for this reason that we write to you. Your recent notes on the subject are not what we would characterize as flatulently correct.

In addition, it appears the the Overlords of SI have imposed a short vacation for you. We trust you will take the time to eat plenty of cabbage and black eyed peas and go for a walk to ponder the True Meaning of Poots.

When you return to SI, we hope (nay, we insist) you substitute the word "poot" for [the word we don't use anymore];

e.g. poothead, big fat poot, Mr. Big Poot, etc.

Do not despair. Try and get some rest. Our Time Will Come. The next annual meeting is scheduled for Seattle if you get my drift.
