The USSR was never officially an enemy during the entire Cold War. We were never officially at war with them. Did you know that? Did that make the Commissars our bosom buddies? (Well, except for certain comsymps who shall remain unnamed.)

And US Presidents visited Moscow and a Soviet Premier visited the US.

From the time Hitler came tom power in 1932 until his declaration of war on the US in 1941, Hitler and Germany were not officially enemies. Did you know that?
