Steve -
All my trades were posted also... you can look on the CPQ thread in late October or early November to pick up my trades on Nov and Jan CPQ calls as well as the LEAPS in that stock. Also selling covered calls and puts on DELL throughout the year, or my hedge buying puts on DELL last Wednesday.

I was just kidding about the lesson, I made out pretty well this year with my own clumsy style and will just continue to muddle along without the benefit of the kind of analysis you do, I am too lazy to do that much work. That's why I try and come up with some simple yardsticks for my plays, that way I don't have to think too hard.

Ignoring LEAPs for a moment, I made a little over $1.9M in 1999 on various option plays while putting less than $100K in capital at risk - of course if the put sales had gone bad I was at risk to take the stock but I have plenty of ability to do that.

I don't pretend to be an investment advisor, just a former engineer gone bad... but I do post everything I do, both to get comments from other investors and so that others can get a feel for my investment style.
